## What it is

Orma Sleep is building the Smart CPAP Mask — connecting CPAP patients and their doctors through
richer sleep data. Sensors embedded in the mask you already wear record SpO2, pulse rate, and
position during the night, for you and your provider to review.

## How it works

Orma is building a mask that also records what your body does during sleep — nightly data patients
can see and doctors can review. The mask is in development toward FDA 510(k) clearance. The goal:
better-informed care between visits, with nothing extra to wear.

- **Signal Analysis:** algorithms turn each night's raw signals into clear, reviewable summaries.
  Deeper sleep-analysis models are in research, being validated the proper way.
- **Companion App:** translates each night's recorded data into plain language, so you can see your
  own patterns and share them with your care team.
- **Compared to consumer trackers:** everything a consumer tracker does — built into the mask you
  already wear.
- **Interactive app preview (on the site):** a simulated, illustrative preview of the companion-app
  design — a dashboard (time in bed, SpO2, pulse rate, body position), tappable Oxygen / Heart rate /
  Sleep detail screens with a whole-night chart, and a chat screen. Sleep staging, arousal detection
  and breathing analysis are labelled in development. Sample data only, not patient data, and not a
  released product.

## Your data

The mask records SpO2, pulse rate, and position during the night — for the patient and their
provider to review, so both have more to look at between visits. Protection: end-to-end
encryption, HIPAA-compliant cloud, role-based access, audit logging, BAA-ready architecture.

## Waitlist

The mask is not for sale yet. ormasleep.com hosts a free waitlist with two tracks — one for
patients (email + whether they use CPAP today) and one for clinics & partners (sleep labs,
physicians, DMEs, researchers, investors). Joining is not a pre-order and collects no payment;
the mask can be offered for sale only after FDA clearance. Orma is targeting U.S. availability
in early-to-mid 2027, subject to FDA 510(k) clearance. Waitlist members receive email progress
